my workflow for creating 3D clothing for characters

Here’s a glimpse into my workflow for creating 3D clothing for characters.

I usually start by designing the clothing in Marvelous Designer, then export it to ZBrush for sculpting and adding detailed cloth wrinkles. After that, I retopologize the model and create a quick UV layout. I bake the normals and apply fabric textures to bring out the finer details.

Once that’s done, I bring the clothing back to the final character model, fit it properly, and rig it to ensure it moves naturally. The final step is rendering, where I use an AI-based render setup to achieve high-quality results.

This process allows me to create detailed, realistic clothing for 3D characters with full control over design, fit, and texture.
